UI UX Design Agency in Dubai

A UI and UX Design Agency in Dubai That Designs for Who Actually Uses It

Most interfaces in this market are designed once, in English, for a desktop, and then bolted into Arabic and squeezed onto a phone. That is where the drop off comes from. We design for the real user from the first screen.

The Real Problem

Dubai Interfaces Fail for Reasons a Global Playbook Never Mentions

Here is the mistake almost every project in this market makes. The interface is designed in English, for a desktop, by someone reasoning about a single imagined user. Then Arabic is added with a plugin, the layout is squeezed onto a phone, and everyone wonders why the numbers are worse than the mockups promised.

Arabic is not a translation task. It is a layout task. Right to left mirrors the entire interface: navigation flips, progress moves the other way, icons that imply direction now point wrong, form labels and validation reposition, and any layout built on hard coded left and right breaks. Retrofitting that costs several times what designing for it would have cost, and the result still feels like a translation.

The second problem is that Dubai is not one audience with one set of visual expectations. Design conventions that read as premium to a Western expat can read as sparse or unfinished to a Gulf audience, and the density that reads as trustworthy and information rich to a South Asian user can read as cluttered to someone else. There is no single correct answer, which is exactly why this has to be tested rather than argued about in a review meeting.

Third, the baseline here is high. UAE government digital services, UAE Pass, banking apps and the major delivery platforms have trained people to expect a certain smoothness. An interface that would pass without comment in a smaller market feels dated here within seconds, and people leave without being able to tell you why.

Fourth, almost everything is used on a phone, often one handed, often on the move. A design reviewed on a large monitor and signed off in a boardroom has not actually been reviewed at all.

We design against those four conditions from the first wireframe, which is cheaper than discovering them after launch.

Twelve months: designed for the real user against designed then retrofitted Month 1 Month 6 Month 12 Designed for the real user Retrofitted after launch
Every fix after launch costs more than the decision would have cost before it, and the revenue lost in between never comes back. That gap is the whole argument for doing the research first.
Design Reality

Four Things That Change How Interfaces Work Here

Each of these changes a decision in the wireframe, not just a note in the style guide.

RTL

Arabic mirrors everything

Right to left is a layout decision, not a language setting. Navigation, direction cues, forms and progress all flip. Cheap to plan for, expensive to retrofit.

MIX

No single visual convention

What reads as premium to one nationality reads as unfinished to another. This has to be tested with real users rather than settled by opinion.

GOV

The baseline is unusually high

Government services and banking apps here have set expectations. An interface that feels dated loses people in seconds, before they can articulate why.

MOB

Phone first, one handed

Most use is mobile and on the move. A design signed off on a large monitor has not been reviewed under the conditions it will actually face.

We design to published standards rather than to taste alone. Useful references: the WCAG accessibility guidelines, Google page experience documentation, UAE adoption data from DataReportal, and the government portal at u.ae.
Our Design Services

What Our UI and UX Design in Dubai Covers

Research, structure, interface and testing. One process, not four handovers.

Find out what users actually do

Opinions about users are cheap and usually wrong. Research replaces them with evidence, and it is the difference between a redesign that works and one that just looks newer.

We speak to real users from the segments that actually matter to you, and we watch them use the current thing before proposing a new one.

  • User interviews across your real audience segments
  • Usability testing on the existing product
  • Analytics and session review to find the drop offs
  • Competitor and category benchmarking
  • Personas built from evidence rather than assumption
  • Research findings you can act on, not a slide deck

This feeds directly into our UI and UX design practice.

Weeks one and two: watch people use what exists

We audit the current experience, review analytics for where people abandon, and run sessions with real users from your actual segments, in both languages where that applies.

Experience and Proof

Design Work Across This Region and Beyond

The Meta Future is a Dubai based agency designing websites, stores and digital products for clients across the UAE and internationally.

Regional experience shows up in the small decisions. Knowing that a form asking for a title or a full legal name behaves differently across nationalities. Knowing that phone number and address fields need to accept formats from a dozen countries. Knowing which payment and identity flows people here already recognise, so you are not teaching them something new at the worst possible moment.

We publish what we learn in our insights library, and the designers who would work on your project are on our team page.

Sectors

Dubai Sectors We Design For

Interface decisions change completely by category. These are the ones where we already understand the user.

EC

Retail and ecommerce

Product discovery, checkout and cash on delivery flows, supported by our ecommerce development team.

FIN

Fintech and banking

Trust, clarity and error handling matter more than delight. People are moving money and will not forgive ambiguity.

RE

Real estate and property

Search, filtering and comparison for a high value decision made over weeks rather than minutes.

HC

Healthcare and clinics

Booking and intake flows used by people who are anxious, in a hurry, or both.

GOV

Government and public services

An audience of everybody, including people who use the service once a year and need no prior knowledge.

B2B

B2B and SaaS

Complex products where the job is making expertise legible, often through web application design.

Local Presence

A UI UX Design Company in Dubai You Can Actually Sit With

We work as a service area business across the UAE, so we come to you. The team covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider Emirates, and our Google Business Profile reflects that service area exactly.

Design work benefits from being in the room. Watching a stakeholder react to a prototype tells you more in ten minutes than a week of emailed comments, and running user sessions with your actual customers is far easier when we are local to them.

What UI and UX Design Costs in Dubai

Published ranges, so you can decide whether to talk to us before you talk to us.

UX review

AED 12,000 to 25,000

per month

Audit, user testing and a prioritised list of what to fix. For teams who need a diagnosis before committing to a redesign.

Website or store design

AED 35,000 to 85,000

per month

Research, structure, prototyping and full interface design in both languages. Where most Dubai projects sit.

Product or app design

AED 90,000 and up

per month

Complex products with multiple user types, a full design system, and ongoing design support through build.

Priced per project after scoping, not per hour. Hourly pricing rewards slow work, which is the opposite of the incentive you want.

Questions

Straight Answers Before You Call

A UX review runs from about AED 12,000. A full website or store design typically falls between AED 35,000 and AED 85,000, and complex products go above that. The range is wide because the honest cost depends on how many user types, journeys and languages are involved. Anyone quoting a firm figure before understanding those things is guessing.

A UX review takes two to three weeks. A full website or store design is usually eight to twelve weeks including research, prototyping, testing and both language directions. Products take longer. We do not compress the research stage to hit a date, because that is the stage that prevents expensive mistakes later.

If you serve an Arabic speaking audience, yes, and it is cheaper than people expect when it is planned from the start. Right to left mirrors the whole interface: navigation, direction cues, forms and progress all flip. Adding it later through a plugin produces broken layouts and a design that visibly was not made for that reader.

Yes, and it usually works well. We deliver designs with a component system and documentation your developers can build from, and we stay available through implementation because that is when the real questions come up. We can also build it ourselves if you would rather have one team.

We work inside them. Brand guidelines usually cover colour, type and logo but say nothing about interface states, error handling or right to left behaviour, so we extend them rather than replace them. If something in the guidelines is actively hurting usability we will tell you, with the evidence.

We test it. Usability sessions during design, and A/B testing on commercial pages after launch where traffic allows. A design that cannot be shown to perform better is an opinion, and we would rather hand you a number.

Both, and the research is the part that decides whether the visuals work. We interview and test with real users from your actual segments. If a budget cannot stretch to both, research is the part that returns more, because it prevents you building the wrong thing beautifully.

Editable design files, a component library, documentation, and a handover session with your team. You own all of it. Nothing is held back, and nothing depends on keeping us on retainer.
