Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous Website QA Tester to join our QA team. As a Website QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our websites before they go live. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications to identify software defects and usability issues.
- Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results to determine compliance with design specifications.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams and work with them to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure issues do not recur.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and QA methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in testing websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with testing techniques such as functional testing, usability testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and document defects effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
